Senior Web Designer & Developer

Dallas, TX
Full Time
Manager/Supervisor
I. Role Overview
Our website — accelerize360.com — needs to be redesigned from the ground up. After that, we need to keep it current as the company (and the web) evolves. You're going to own the web platform end-to-end: design, development, performance, and the templates the rest of the team uses to ship without bothering you.

This is a designer-developer role, not a designer with some HTML or a developer who can make things look nice. You move fluidly between Figma and Webflow, you write custom code when Webflow's limits get in the way, and you have strong opinions about what makes a B2B website actually convert.

II. Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead the rebuild of accelerize360.com. You’ll help lead the information architecture, visual design, build, and launch. Working closely with the writer on voice and structure, and with the brand designer on visual identity.
  • Leverage Webflow as the primary CMS. With custom code where Webflow's limits get in the way. You're not going to fight the tool; you're going to extend it. We expect production-quality HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — bonus if you bring React or Next.js for the cases where Webflow isn't right.
  • Build a component library. So writers and designers can publish landing pages, case studies, and microsites without dev review. The goal: at least 80% of new pages should be publishable by non-dev team members using your templates.
  • SEO and AEO technical implementation. Schema, structured data, page-speed optimization, AI-search optimization. You're not the SEO strategist — that's the writer's job — but the technical foundation is yours.
  • Web design across marketing campaigns. Landing pages for events, microsites for major customer stories, paid-campaign destination pages. As we scale, you'll have other designers & disciplines helping, but early on, you're on point.
III. Ideal Qualifications
  • You experiment with new formats and tools. New interaction patterns, new frameworks, new AI-assisted build workflows — you try them, ship them, and can point to what worked, what didn't, and what changed. This isn't a side hustle for you; it's how you make a company's work more memorable and how you help sellers close business.
  • 5–9 years in web design, with at least 2–3 years in Webflow preferred. You've shipped multiple production B2B sites in it.
  • You can write production-quality HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. You don't fight Webflow's limits; you extend them with embedded custom code or a hybrid Next.js setup where the situation calls for it.
  • You've shipped B2B SaaS or services websites — bonus for sites that handled both lead capture and product depth (i.e., not just a marketing page, but pages that explain what the company actually does).
  • Strong brand design instincts. You've worked with a brand system or built one. You understand that a website isn't a portfolio piece; it's the company's most-used surface.
  • AI tool fluency: Figma + AI plugins, Webflow AI, Cursor for code, Claude or ChatGPT for code review and content shaping. You've integrated these into your weekly workflow. Bonus if you've built a Claude Skill or Custom GPT that automates a piece of your process — we want people who build with AI strategically, not just use it.
  • Comfortable owning a Notion/Slack-driven workflow without a project manager in the middle. You'll be working directly with the VP, the writer, and the brand designer.
IV. Bonus points
  • Have built and maintained a design system or component library that other people used
  • React, Next.js, or other modern framework experience for the cases where Webflow isn't the right answer
  • Shopify, Salesforce CMS, or HubSpot CMS experience
  • Have shipped a full corporate site rebuild (not just iterative pages) and can talk about the decisions you made
  • Experience turning complex ideas into Interactive Demos or Experiences in Figma
  • Some accessibility/ADA compliance experience
  • Examples of Claude Skills or functioning AI-generated tools/apps

You'll report to the VP of CX & Marketing, joining our growing marketing team. Day-to-day you'll work with the writer on voice and content structure, with the brand designer on visual identity and reusable components, and our global design team for production overflow.

Tools we'll provide: Webflow, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, GitHub if you want to put code in version control, AI tooling subscriptions of your choice.

We're remote-first. EST or CST is preferred to maximize overlap with the writer and the rest of the global team. We care that the sites ship, that they convert, and that the rest of the team can use what you build without you in the room.

V. Application Requirements

  • A short note in your voice about a website rebuild you're proud of — what was broken, what you decided, and what shipped
  • Portfolio or links to three production projects you've shipped, ideally including at least one Webflow build with custom code
  • A 2-minute Loom or write-up describing your design-to-build workflow, including AI tools you use weekly
  • Your LinkedIn profile URL
